White peony root Tincture

Paeonia lactiflora

White peony has been used in China for at least 1,500 years, primarily for 'yin' deficiency states. It's main use is as a women's tonic herb for heavy and/or painful periods and menopausal problems. For this purpose, it combines well with Chinese angelica. In addition, it has an anti-spasmodic action making it helpful in colic/IBS, muscle cramps and tension headaches.

Avoid during pregnancy and lactation. Abnormally heavy or painful periods should be investigated by your GP.
