Thymus vulgaris

Thyme is a superb chest remedy for bronchitis, chest infections, coughs and asthma. It has a marked anti-fungal action and is a generally stimulating and strengthening herb. See also under aromatic waters and creams. Suitable for children.

Avoid in pregnancy and lactation. Asthma is best treated by a qualified herbalist in conjunctin with an othodox practitioner.
