Thyme (White) Essential Oil

Thymus linalool

Use only under the supervision of a trained Aromatherapist. This oil is extremely potent. In the presence of infectious diseases, it is said to stimulate the production of white blood corpuscles. Long known since ancient times as a medicinal and culinary herb. First reported use in Ancient Greece. White Thyme is a further distillation of Red Thyme and is safer as it has some of the more toxic elements removed in the refining process. Mystic associations with psychic powers, healing, courage, love, purification, sleep.

Do not use without the advice of a qualified Aromatherapist. This oil is a strong mucous membrane irritant and possible dermal irritant. Do NOT use during pregnancy. Not suitable for children under 12 years. Not suitable for those with high blood pressure (hypertension). Dilute to less than 2% Thyme before use as it may cause irritation to sensitive skins. Do not use in the bath.
