Psyllium husks (Ispaghulla) Dried Herb

Psyllium seeds are a useful bulking and stool softening agent where constipation and haemorrhoids (piles) are present, having a gentler action than the seeds. They are also used for IBS where there may be alternating consitpation and diarrhoea, helping to normalise bowel patterns.

It is most important that plenty of water is drunk when taking psyllium husks.
