Myrrh resin is strongly antimicrobial and can be used externally as a lotion or cream on a range of skin infections, as a gargle in gum disease (combines well with Greek sage water for this) and for mouth ulcers. It is anti-fungal and its astringent action is useful in weeping skin conditions and on cracked skin. May be used as a facial toner for oily and acne prone skin. Suitable for children.
Avoid during pregnancy.
