Gotu kola herb (Indian pennywort) Tincture

Hydrocotyle asiatica or Centella asiatica

An important Ayurvedic remedy, this herb has a wide range of uses in skin and joint problems. It may be used as a general tonic and for improving peripheral circulation.

May ocassionally cause sensitivity to sunlight. There is some evidence that gotu kola may increase cholesterol levels and raise blood sugar levels. Short-term use only. Avoid in pregnancy and lactation.
